Former employees of the Gold Gym in Hickory, NC, owned by Ric Flair, are enraged after their final paychecks bounced, according to a report on WSOC-TV
out of NC.
WSOC said that Flair had sold the business and closed the building shortly before Christmas. The workers were shocked when their final paychecks
didn't clear and they could not get any answers. They then contacted the station for help.
Flair as well as his legal representative declined to speak on camera. Flair's attorney did say that Flair had just been presented with a list of the
workers and the money he owed them. The attorney promised Flair would remedy the issue.
The report featured comments from several of the workers who had yet to receive their paycheck, including one who hasn't been able to access her
account at her bank since the funds bounced.
