I think he will get targeted for sure and someone will get him out early.

I think Benoit has a very good chance.

All depends on the numbers though, when they enter.

For those of you who don't know, after the tapings last night, there is still a slot left open for SmackDown! in the Royal Rumble.

Former WWF World Heavyweight Champion Iron Sheik is confirmed as of right now for the Royal Rumble.

The WWE is keeping this quiet as to build suspense, as was stated earlier, but in an interview with World-Wrestling and Wade Needham, former the Iron Shiek said that he would indeed be in this year's Rumble match.

Many do not know if this will be a one time gig or anything, but Iron Sheik will be wrestling under the SmackDown! banner this Sunday.

The Iron Shiek is a legend!

The Iron Sheik is one of the greatest wrestlers of all time. The highlight of his career was obviously defeating Bob Backlund for the WWF Heavyweight Title in Madison Square Garden, New York, in 1983. The Sheik also held the WWF Tag Team Title with Nicolia Volkoff, under the management of "Classie" Freddie Blassie".

Many sources backstage are now saying that New Jack will be the 30th entrant into the Royal Rumble.

At first, all signs pointed to Iron Sheik and Brock Lesnar, but both have denied the claim that they will be there. Even more, every time a huge WWE superstar makes his return at the Royal Rumble, WWE always finds a way to promote it. It would be very unlikely that WWE would bring Lesnar back for the Rumble and not announce it, as WWE knows announcing Lesnar would bring in more PPV buys.

In any case, it has been reported in the past that New Jack and WWE have been in talks and New Jack himself even said he had signed with WWE at the January 15, 2005 show at IWA-MS.

Unlike the other rumors going around, this is the most likely candidate. For one, WWE and New Jack have indeed been in talks for a long time now. Even more, the last remaining slot would go to a SmackDown! superstar, and if he did indeed sign with WWE, New Jack would be shipped to SmackDown!

If New Jack does debut tommorrow night, expect him and Cena to most likely eliminate themselves and start their feud. New Jack and John Cena would most likely match up at No Way Out with John Cena losing the strap, and then Cena would most likely challenge for the WWE Championship at Wrestlemania.
