WWE: Maven, CM Punk & Samoa Joe

There is currently no sign of ROH stars CM Punk or Samoa Joe being brought in by WWE. Specifically with Samoa Joe, one person within WWE said: "WWE officials look at him and some don't think he can get over with his look." With Ricky Steamboat in WWE now, they're likely to receive some shining endorsements though. It's a shame looks are more important that the ability to put on a three match series unmatch by any series dating back to the Ric Flair/Ricky Steamboat series. Maybe someday 4-5 star matches will be important again.

WWE management is reportedly disappointed in Maven. One specific problem mentioned is his cardio-training. This isn't to say Maven isn't liked backstage, just that he's being held back for the time being. Maven's good friend and traveling buddy Randy Orton also disappoints some, but he is so far into his push that it'd be tough to hold him back to work on him at the moment.
