Matt Hardy who is currently out of WWE action due to surgery returned to wrestling action tonight but not for WWE. Matt wrestled a handi-cap match
against a team called Fame and Fortune on Saturday January 8th in Clinton, NC at the Sampson County Agri Expo Center for Live Action Wrestling. Matt
looked good and seemed to have put on a few pounds, but over all a great match as Matt defeated both members of the tag team. At the beginning of the
show the ring announcer announced that Lex Luger was supposed to be at the show, but no showed the promotion and announced they had a surprise
superstar to take his place. The music hit and out comes Matt Hardy, great crowd response. Matt said he was happy to be there and was taking the place
of Luger. I find this very interesting that WWE would let one of there contracted wrestlers work and indy show when he is in rehab and due to make a
return. Not a bad crowd, around 250. To note David Flair was also advertised and did not show up.
