Johnny Stamboli, Rodney Mack, Jazz and Rico have all been released by WWE. This takes the total number of talent cuts this week to ten, with Billy Gunn, A-Train, Test, Nidia, Gail Kim and Chuck Palumbo all cut earlier this week. Expect at least two more cuts to be announced this week.

All the cuts so far have been money saving exercises with no one being released due to bad behaviour.

Billy Gunn was seeking help with a drug addiction and was off the road but from what I have been told, he would have been cut regardless. Gunn was backstage at TNA's TV tapings earlier this week as he lives in the immediate area.

Test was also off the road due to his injured neck which is keeping him out of the ring for at least six months. Test has been told that WWE will take a look at him when he has recovered from his injury. He gave them a 'no thanks' as a response.

The rest all apparently relate to money saving issues.

Although there are a number of reasons why cuts have been made to the active roster of WWE in the past week, we have discovered a very crucial piece of the story that has yet to be told.

Apparently, in a big change of plans for the non televised side of WWE, Vince McMahon has decided not to send nearly as much talent to house shows in the coming the months because they have been drawing poorly as of late. Because of that, a major cost cutting change has started. Those who weren't going to be sent on the road were cut.

While this will effect some wrestlers payoffs that they would normally get for house show work, it will also save them money on transportation and other expenses (hotel, food, etc etc).

While the cuts have all been made (12 of them), two have yet to be made public by WWE.
