As far as things go with Mick Foley right now, he is still only rumored for the upcoming ECW "One Night Stand" pay-per view. Originally, the plan was
for Foley and Joey Styles to do the announcing for the show, but it is being reported now that it will be Styles and Tazz doing that. If Foley does
come in to do commentary, many expect the current "Mick Foley" of today, and not the "Cactus Jack" that performed in ECW. Some had hoped for Foley to
cut one of his dark promos that was really a big part of his little run with the company originally. No word on if that is still a working plan or
not.
JT Smith, Tony Mamaluke, and Tracy Smothers were all apparently contacted by WWE to work the ECW PPV, but none are currently on the list of talent
scheduled for the show, for whatever reason. Tracy Smothers mentions the date of the show on his website, so it would appear that the real FBI (Full
Blooded Italians) will be at hand during the show in some form. The most likely scenerio would be for some of FBI guys to help Little Guido (aka
Nunzio) in his triple-threat match scheduled for the PPV against Tajiri and Super Crazy.
Here is a current list of talent who worked and had a pretty big role in ECW, but isn't scheduled for the PPV: Terry Funk, Shane Douglas, Raven, Jerry
Lynn, New Jack, Steve Corino, Mike Awesome, 2 Cold Scorpio, Francine, Beulah, Bam Bam Bigelow, The Eliminators (Saturn/Kronus), Ian Rotten, Miss
Congeniality (Lita), Dean Malenko, Joey Mathews (Mercury), Steve Austin, Johnny Swinger, Jason, Tod Gordon, Chris Chetti, Mustafa, Johnny Grunge,
Pitbull, Big Sal E., Tommy Rich, Tommy Rogers, Jack Victory, Brian Lee, Juventud Guerrera, Big Vito, Doug Furnas, Phil LaFon, Hack Myers.
The ECW "One Night Stand" pay-per view is live this Sunday, with a few matches still left unannounced. It is expected that about two or three more
matches will be added before the card is finalized.
