Despite being cleared to return to WWE, it is unlikely that Scott Steiner will come back to wrestle.

WWE creative have no plans for Steiner, and feel he is too injury prone to be given a large television push.

WWE will most probably wait for his contract to expire and not use him again.

In another sign that Scott Steiner is gone from WWE is that his T-shirts were with all the Austin and Goldberg shirts in the $10 Canadian (about $7.50 U.S.) discount bin at a match recently...

This week it was officialy decided that Scott Steiner will not be brought back to the WWE. Following his hip flexor injury, the decision had been made not to offer Steiner a new contract when his deal expired in October or November, so there had been no point in pushing him on TV. There had been some question as to whether they would bring him back to do a few jobs on PPV, or just not use him then, and the decision came to the latter.
