Ultimo Dragon will be leaving World Wrestling Entertainment, PW Insider is reporting that Dragon will actually be taking a short leave of absence from
the company to tend to business in Japan which most likely has to deal with his Toryumon promotion. He is apparently scheduled to return to WWE
sometime in the fall to wrestle.A Japanese source is reporting that Ultimo quit WWE to return to wrestle in Japan with no mention of him returning to
WWE, while there are now reports stating that Ultimo will indeed be back in the company later this year.
The WWE recently asked Dragon to sign a release that would prohibit him from appearing on American television for the next year. Dragon is now working
in Japan and has wrestled several dates in Mexico as well.
There had been talk of him returning to WWE this Fall but now it appears he may be finished with the company as a whole.
Ultimo Dragon will return to the U.S. for the first time since leaving WWE when he works the first TV taping for New Japan's new American promotion.
Dragon will face American Dragon. New Japan's new promotion, known as NJPW-USA, will be based in Santa Monica, CA and air localy on KVMD-TV Channel 23
in Los Angeles. Don't expect Dragon to return to WWE anytime soon, if ever.
Ultimo Dragon is still expected to return to WWE in the fall but there's a chance that he may not return since the company isn't too keen on pushing
him and he'd rather be in Japan anyway due to other interests.
