Are aliens friendly or hostile or neutral?

I would imagine they would be more friendly if anything. I would assume (having the whole space travel thing down) that they have been around long enough to get more primitive things like starting wars or anything like that out of their system.

I would assume that they would have found something as close to utopia as they could get. Lots of trial and error after being around for so long.

Aliens are by definition, um, alien. You cannot paint them with a human paintbrush. If you step on an anthill and kill hundreds of ants are you evil? I would think not.

not sure where i am as was just browsing the net on aliens.
just want to say that two things happend around 14 years ago that i would like to tell you.
the first thing is that i was walking home on a cold starry night and looked up into the sky.
as i looked up into the sky there was a bright star/light that went out as soon as i noticed it.
the second thing that happened around thae same time as this is so strange.
my wife woke in the night to see me in another form rising above my sleeping body in the bed .
she saw a tall figure in the bedroom in black wearing black and black helmet/visor.
she said that she was in a state of paralys/ unable to move.
next thing is that she woke in the morning next to me.
she told me what had happened but told her it was a dream.
i told her what happened to me but she said i had to many beers that night coming home from a friends house.
just thought i would share this with you.

If you did so purposely, then the act would be evil.

It would be wise if humans to the best of their ability avoided killing things for their own amusement, or for other trivial reasons.

After all, how would you like it if a superior species came along and just *oops* purposely stepped on your house and killed your family? Would that not be an evil act?

Some of you said precisely what i think...

I have been wondering... this aliens, this other lifes, they are certainly different of us... they think in a different way... I won't think their neutral... I would say there are some kind of politics in outerspace... and some agree and someother disagree... Those who agree are protecting us against the others... The abductions is something we CAN'T criticise... Cuz' we have done the same to the poor alien of roswell... We shouldn't do ANY bad to them... they are being generous for us... I believe they want us to evolve... But we need to give them an entrance to our society...

Of course we are still so young to understand it... But maybe it's just about time... all the sort of events are predicting that they will appear in 2012... To save our race from extintion... Maybe its too fictional... Yes... maybe... But hey... They have been here for a bunch of times and they are trying to contact us...

For me they may look scary... because all that we do not know scare us... but... they are sure friendly... this is my opinion! Thx for letting me post.

Here we go again with another 'are aliens friendly'? thread. Are we to be so ignorant as to think that only one race exists with one set of beliefs about humans? Thats quite a broad brush to paint the universe with. The ignorance is truly staggering.

Sorry no offense, OP, but the Universe is a big place, teaming with possibly millions of life forms and you have boiled them all down to one. We have enough differing agendas on Earth - just imagine whats out there in space.

If they are living entities then they could fit into a few different themes.

And I would like to argue these themes, to add some valid views.

1. They are coming here to steal our natural resources.

By letting us use most of them first? Why would they need to steal them? Aliens travelling stealthly across light years, using technology far superior, why not just invade and take. Its what we do to other countries.

2. They are coming here to farm us for food.

And that farming includes keeping two thirds of the planet starving, malnourished and diseased with amassive mortality rate, whilst the other third is getting obese and increasingly laced with high concentrations of additives, synthetic preservatives, pharmaceuticals, hormones and urban pollutions, and increasing exposure to genectically modified crops with lower nutritional quality combined with higher levels of herbicides and pesticides.

3. They are coming here to conduct experiments on us.

4. They travelled at their expense with possibly huge time frames to be nice to us ?

What if there is another option, they are not good or bad, just whatever we imagine them to be. We see that don't we. Greys, Nordics, Thetans, Zetas, GFL, Pleiadians, Alpha-Draconians, Reptilians, Reptoids, Jedi, Altairians, Andromidians, Anunnaki, Dracos, Hyadeans, Hybrids, Ewoks, Orions.
