ABC Sports and the Pac-10 announced a five- year contract extension on Tuesday that will keep the conference's football games on the network through
2011. The agreement also gives ABC's sister network, ESPN, Pac-10 football games for the first time since 1994.
"I am thrilled that we were able to reach this agreement, which will keep the tradition of Pac-10 football on ABC Sports and will enable ESPN to both
televise Pac-10 games and provide multi-media opportunities for fans that follow Pac-10 football," said George Bodenheimer, co-Chairman, Disney Media
Networks and President, ESPN, Inc. and ABC Sports. "This new agreement will be mutually beneficial for the Pac-10, ABC Sports and ESPN."
