Jim Boeheim and Jim Calhoun, two of US college basketball's premier head coaches, highlighted the class of 2005 inductees into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame today.

In addition, former NBA head coach Hubie Brown, legendary LSU women's head coach Sue Gunter and Brazilian champion Hortencia de Fatima Marcari Oliva were also selected for induction. In order to be elected into the Hall of Fame, a finalist had to receive at least 18-of-24 votes from the Honors Committee.
