College Sports: J J Reddick - Watch!

To add... this year, the awards and accolades and whatnot? Pouring in. I think hes a finalist for the Rupp, Wooden, and Naismith awards... I heard somewhere that he might be getting the Rupp on Thursday but that's not for certain. There is, for all those interested, a site that someone created about him... its jjredick.net. Its cute.

PS... JJ Redick was awarded the Rupp award for NPOY. Yay for him.

Duke guard J.J. Redick was awarded the Adolph F. Rupp Trophy, given each year to the nation's top player in men's Divison I NCAA basketball, on Thursday, March 31, in St. Louis, Mo. Redick, a history major, is the fifth Duke player to claim the Rupp Trophy, joining Christian Laettner (1992), Elton Brand (1999), Shane Battier (2001) and Jason Williams (2002). A unanimous first team All-America pick, Redick is also a finalist for the Naismith and Wooden Awards.

TRD, they are pretty much done, except coaching moves, until next season. Oh yeah, and letters of intent, but I don't know when that happens.

TRD - the one other college bball thing that remains is the NBA watch - who'll come out of school early and who'll stick around?

Gibbs - i may post a little, but i'm pretty busy with my site at the moment. and yes, i'm a big sports fan. aside from college bball, i love the NFL and NHL. i'll watch just about anything sports-related, although i'm not too into NASCAR.

So whats happening with JJ at the moment? Any news and stuff on him?

Duke's season will start in about a week, I think. Then we should start hearing more about Mr. Reddick

Mr. Redick, and the rest of the Blue Devils, will start thier season on the 14th of November against Boston University.

JJ is averaging 19 points and 2 assists per game over the first 2 games of the season for the top-ranked Blue Devils.

He has his scoring average up to 22.4 per game, with 13 3-pointers.

Reddick had a big game against Indiana scoring 29 points, where have all the JJ fans gone?

JJ scored a career high 41 points against the Texas Longhorns in a matchup of #1 vs. #2. Included in his 41 were 9 3 pointers!

Way to go, man!
