Masters champion Phil Mickelson does not know yet whether next week's Open will be his last appearance on this side of the Atlantic this season.
The American Express world championship is at Mount Juliet in Ireland on September 30-October 3 and the HSBC world match play at Wentworth two weeks
But Mickelson, who began the Barclays Scottish Open at Loch Lomond with a disappointing one over par 72 to be seven off the lead, says his schedule
has not been mapped out beyond the Ryder Cup in Detroit on September 17-19.
He was one of several players - Tiger Woods and Davis Love were others - who turned down the matchplay event last year in spite of its 1million first
prize being the biggest in golf.
