Donald Young is now the youngest ITF World Junior Champion.

The 16-year-old from Atlanta clinched the year-end No. 1 ranking in boys tennis Thursday, when he advanced to the quarterfinals of the Orange Bowl International Tennis Championships and second-ranked Marin Cilic of Croatia lost in the third round.

Young is 16 years, 5 months old -- one month younger than Richard Gasquet of France was when he topped the boys rankings at the end of 2002.
