Rafael Nadal won his second career ATP Tour title after a 6-0 6-7 (2/7) 6-1 victory over fellow Spaniard Alberto Martin in the final of the Brazil
Open in Costa do Sauipe. The teenager won his first ATP title last August in Sopot, Poland. The sixth seed made a superb start winning the first 10
games before Martin staged a fightback to take the second set on a tie-breaker. But Nadal recovered his composure to stroll through the final set 6-1.
The 18-year-old from Mallorca, who broke through in 2004 by leading Spain to Davis Cup triumph, won in two hours six minutes.
