Andy Roddick ruthlessly ended Greg Rusedski's Australian Open challenge in the second round in Melbourne. Rusedski was simply blown off court in the
first set, winning just 11 points - five of them in one game - as Roddick produced a stunning array of shots to win it 6-0 in only 18 minutes.
The British number two admirably refused to buckle under a typically aggressive onslaught from the second seed and won the second set to level the
match. But Roddick was in no mood to be denied and rattled through the final two sets to complete a 6-0 3-6 6-2 6-3 victory in 93 minutes.
