Russian vs. USA Tech

The US military budget is more than six times larger than the Russian budget.

Based on this fact, tell me which nation probably has the more advanced toys..

Russia deosn't use 40% on military! And I NEVER said Russia is at the SAME military power as US!!

I said Russia has GOOD TECH and I said Russia is BEHIND US militarly!

Having GOOD TECH and BIGGEST MILITARY ARE TWO DIFFERENT THINGS!

Also my country is FIXING its self up! Thats way they AREN'T the BIGGEST military power!!!!

Very bold statement Russian. But, you are comming across like you want to prove Russia is "better" by stating your Millitary Tech. (we all know this means Technology right??). What you should be doing is pointing to WHY your better instead of making statements that come across as being an A-HOLE.

1. Show me something that proves your country doesnt spend 40% on its Military.

Pay close attention to the "8 years younger" type statement. Basically Russian, what are you trying to say, the Mig-29 is so much better cuz its new or what exactly are you saying here. You seem to use this alot, "younger" to explain something. Are you trying to be funny??

I think you get the point. Just be a little more diplomatic and dont think one bit that when you attack (thats what it is) a country, some of those same people wont attack back, and harder.

As these were build IN Iraq and IN Yugoslavia (these were M-84s)..

But i think that Iraqis did have also some Soviet made T-72s.. export versions..



Even during Iran-Iraq war.. Iraqi tankers that had T-62s (and other new Soviet tanks..) didnt know how to operate T-62s fire control systems.. but instead just used optical aiming only.. (manual, direct fire..)

And also their commaders didnt know anything about modern and mobile warfare..

This I agree with. You should of started right there from the begining. I once worked with a Russian dude who was smarter than anyone I have met since. Very cool guy. The sorry part is he was a computer sceintist in Russia and studied Math and when he came to the US he ended up working in a Plastics Molding Plant. He would sit at the machine and do equations all day.

This isnt totally true..

The reason why this happened.. having 80s weapons and using them by 40s manner is because of Saddam..

He wanted good weapons but didnt want to train his people to be too good in using them as:

If they knew how to fully exploit these weapons..

Saddam and his secret police force etc.. would have been sitting ducks for them..

Iraqs army officers tryed many times to kill Saddam.. and take over..

And Saddams men did kill lots of these people.. some times seemingly just for the fun of it.. or because they were paranoid..

Paronoid that Army would over throw em..
