Wimbledon runner-up Andy Roddick has pulled out of next week's Stockholm Open, citing a knee injury.
The former world No. 1 also skipped this week's Madrid Masters event because of the knee.
The 22-year-old superstar, who has already qualified for the year-end Tennis Masters Cup in Houston, will have the knee examined next week to decide
if he will compete at the Paris Masters, which gets underway November 1.
Roddick is expected to spearhead the U.S. team when it meets the host Spaniards in Seville in December's Davis Cup final.
