Fourth seed David Nalbandian will miss Wimbledon because of an abdominal muscle tear. Nalbandian was forced to retire after just five games of an
exhibition match against Chilean Nicolas Massu at Stoke Poges, Buckinghamshire on Friday.
The Argentine - a Wimbledon finalist in 2002 - was scheduled to face Croatian Mario Ancic in the first round.
Nalbandian was a potential quarter-final opponent for British number one Tim Henman.
Peru's Luis Horna replaces Nalbandian in the draw.
