Anna Kournikova lately has been at the center of attention with her not winning any big tournaments. I personally don't get this because she has one many double tournament and most of them has been grand slams. But when is she going to win her first singles tournament. She is a good player. But when is it time?

She is gorgeous. I dont think if she looked the way she does, she wouldn't have gotten noticed because from what I have heard she is a mediocre tennis player at best.

Maybe we could take Anna, Gabrielle Reese (volleyball player), Mia Hamm, and some of those women in the Babes thread, and vote for the first annual "Miss Sportz Tawk 2003". :tum:

I think that we could come up with a list..start up a new thread top 10 women in sports...take the most popular out of everyones lists and then we can put up pictures of each and vote..!

Anna Kournikova has a new racket.

Kournikova, forced to miss this year's U.S. Open due to injuries, will contribute pop culture stories and celebrity interviews for USA Network during the tournament that begins Monday.

Kournikova will join USA next Wednesday and will cover the grounds of the National Tennis Center in search of behind-the-scenes entertainment stories that surround the tennis action of the U.S. Open.

Kournikova has played in the U.S. Open eight times, but has never won a tournament in her career.
