There are three players who should be on EVERYONE's alll-time All-NBA team: Larry Bird, Magic Johnson, and Michael Jordan. Anyone who does not have
those three on the team are either uneducated or prejudiced. The position of center is a tough one, but in my opinion the choice is Hakeem Olajuwon.
He was the best defensive center ever (over 3000 blocks and 2000 steals). He had an excellent offensive game--better than Russell and Shaq. He also
made his free throws, something Wilt and Shaq could not do. Power forward is even harder. I narrow it down to Charles Barkley, Karl Malone, and
Kevin McHale. The nod goes to Malone, but not by much. A bigger question is what team would you choose that would work best together. Here is my
team:
Starters:
SF Larry Bird
PF Kevin McHale
C Moses Malone
PG Magic Johnson
SG Michael Jordan
Reserves
F Charles Barkley
F Karl Malone
C-F Hakeem Olajuwon
G Jerry West
G John Stockton
F-G Michael Cooper (defensive specialist)
F Bobby Jones (defensive specialist)
