They need to make the playoffs first. :smug:

They're barely holding on to the 8th spot in the West, just one game ahead of the T-Wolves.

exactly, the 6-8th spots in the west are being coveted after by some teams either playing better or are on fire coming into the break (yeah rockets).

kobe coming back is encouraging, but even making the playoffs, they won't make it out of the round if they don't get the 6th spot. they'd have to play pheonix or san antonio

As much as I want Sacramento to win, which I still believe is possible despite the loss of Webber, I believe it will be either Phoenix or San Antonia, and I'd put my money on Phoenix in that match-up.

Well, the Lakers dropped their fourth straight game tonight.

They hold the 8th and final playoff spot in the West by a half game.

Tomorrow night the Lakers play a very tough Dallas team and Minnesota plays a pretty weak Milwaukee club.

If the T-Wolves win and the Lakers lose, the Lakers suddenly find themselves out of a playoff spot for the time being.

It would indeed be sweet to see the whining Lakers go from NBA Finals to missing the playoffs.

They both won, the Lakers and Timberwolves, so LA still leads by a 1/2 game.

I watched the Lakers-Mavs game last night, pretty good game even though I was rooting for Dallas. Bill Walton was one of the commentators, his son Luke plays for the Lakers.

One of the highlights of the game was sitting courtside, actress Halle Berry.

After Saturday's games, the Denver Nuggets have tied the Lakers for the 8th spot in the West, with the T-Wolves a game back.

The Sixers smoked the Lakers last night 108-91 knocking them out of the 8th playoff spot. They trail the Nuggets by a 1/2 game and travel to Miami tomorrow night and play an unbelievably hot Heat team.
