Warriors should axe Musselman

Is it time for him to go? The Oakland Tribune columnist Monte Poole thinks that it's time for the Warriors to cut coach Eric Musselman loose. People on the shortlist could be Rod Higgins, Mario Elie, Mark Jackson and Byron Scott.

Johnson isn't ready to coach

The Fort Worth Star-Telegram's Dwain Price reports that Avery Johnson isn't ready to put his playing days behind him just yet. Although the Mavericks are rumored to be interested in hiring Johnson as an assistant coach, he says that he plans to keep on playing next season.

Nuggets may shop for shooter

Rumour has it that the Nugget's could sign a shooting guard in the offseason. Chris Tomasson of the The Rocky Mountain News thinks they could target Brent Barry, Stephen Jackson, Quentin Richardson, Manu Ginobili or Jamal Crawford.
