With many people claiming that thi sseries will determine the eventual NBA champion (not that I agree with that), who do you think is going to win this thing?

My money is on the Lakers.

Spurs defense was simply amazing that first game. The last few minutes the Lakers couldn't even get a shot off, they had 11 turonvers for the fourth quarter. Duncan was clutch and the Lakers choked. I can see this series ending in just four or five games if the Lakers continue to play like this.

Can you believe it? In case anyone's counting that's 16 straight wins for the Spurs.

An 11 game winning streak to end the regular season and now 5 straight playoff wins.

If the Spurs play that d there will be no chance for the Lakers.

But dont underesitmate LA, they have Gary, Kobe Shaq and Malone. Can they play solid d on them for 6 or 7 games

Spurs 95, Lakers 85. Final.

Now the Lakers are officially in a "must-win" game.

As I said in the kings thread.. I smell a sweep coming! I was hoping it would be the Kings to put them out of the playoffs, but as long as their out, I'm happy.

Malone doesn't deserve a ring more than anybody else.

If Barkley doesn't have one why should Malone get one.

I'm just a lowly Jazz fan, looking for one of my favorite layers to get a ring. If that means taking out Duncan, well, do any of you have Tonya Harding's #?
