Saint Joseph's junior guard Delonte West will declare for the NBA draft, although he will not hire an agent.

"I think it's a great thing," coach Phil Martelli told The Associated Press.

West, an honorable mention AP All-American this season, hopes to attend the NBA's pre-draft camp in Chicago.

Thats right if he gets an agent he has to goto the NBA

It's worth a shot for him, but if he's not selected, he gets hi slast year of eligibility. Good move, and kudos to coach martelli for backing him on this.
