Denver Post columnist Mark Kiszla writes that the Nuggets could be in danger of losing GM Kiki Vandeweghe to the Mavericks if they don't give him a raise. Kiszla suggests that the Nuggets "show Vandeweghe the money".

Hornets forward Jamal Mashburn may be ready to call it quits. Mashburn told the Miami Herald's Stephen F. Holder that "[retirement] is definitely a viable option".

Raptors could give GM job to Harris

A recent report said that the Raptors were thinking about hiring Del Harris to be their next coach, but it turns out that they may have a different job in mind for the Mavericks assistant. Sources told the Toronto Sun's Bill Harris that the Raptors may be interested in hiring Harris to be their GM.

Hornets' Floyd a "dead man walking"?

Hornets coach Tim Floyd's job may be in jeopardy. Fort Lauderdale Sun-Sentinel columnist Mike Berardino writes that Floyd appears to be "a dead man walking on a sideline where he's no longer welcome".
