Basketball: Lakers vs. Spurs

Oh man I can't wait! This is going to be some series.

I think the Spurs can take the Lakers down. I think the Spurs will take the Lakers down.

It won't be easy, however.

I thought that the Wolves were going to beat the Lakers but I was wrong. That was a great series. During the regular season the Spurs were able to beat the Lakers 4 straight times. The spurs are a much younger team and that will hurt them a lot. The Lakers know what to do in certain situations. As much as I hate to say this Lakers in 6.

spurs in 7..this will be a tough battle between 2 powerhouses

For the sake of pattern I will say Lakers in 5 or 6.

The last two years the Lakers have been predicted to fall to Spurs each time. The result: One series sweep and a 4-1 series victory.

The Spurs are a little younger and deeper this time around, but with Shaq moving as well as he did at the end of the Timberwolves series, and the rest of the Lakers shooting just about average (40-50%) they can handle any team in 7 games.

Regular season series mean little to the great teams.
