Rose Bowl

The Raiders of Oakland lambasted the Minnesota Vikings 32-14. This was the fourth trip in eight years for the Vikes, but it ended with the same result, defeat. Fred Biletnikoff led the charge for the Raiders, taking MVP honors, with 4 receptions for 79 yards. 3 of those receptions led to short yardage touchdowns for the Raiders.

I haven't been keeping up to date with this, life's been a little bit crazy lately...

January 21, 1979 -- Terry Bradshaw passes for a record four touchdowns to lead the Steelers to a 35-31 victory over the Cowboys in Super Bowl XIII. The Steelers become the first team to win three Super Bowls.

1984 -- Raiders running back Marcus Allen rushes for a Super Bowl record 191 yards and two touchdowns to lead Los Angeles to a 38-9 victory over Washington in Super Bowl XVIII.
