The News Tribune's Mike Sando reports that the Bengals, Buccaneers and Dolphins are among the teams that Seahawks free agent Shaun Alexander may be interested in signing with.

Uncertainty in the Seattle Seahawks' front office is diminishing the team's ability to attract and re-sign top free agents, Shaun Alexander said Wednesday.

The Pro Bowl running back is one of 16 Seattle players scheduled to hit the market when free agency begins March 2. But without a team president, vice president or college scouting director, the Seahawks are in transition.

I'm surprised to see the Bengals in the mix considering how well Rudi Johnson has played the past few years. Granted Alexander is better but Rudi is more than adequate and they could probably use Shawn Alexander-type money to upgrade other positions. Marv knows what he's doing in Cincy.

Or ao they hope. I thought the same, but this past season was a big, big disappointment.
