Update: A source close to the Vikings confirmed that a team official has contacted Oakland owner Al Davis about a possible trade involving Moss, the New York Post reports.

Recommendation: The asking price according to the source is rumored to be "an impact defensive player and a first-round pick." Considering that the Raiders have two disgruntled starting cornerbacks in Charles Woodson, who the team franchised in 2004, and Phillip Buchanon, Davis has the ammunition and could be tempted to pull the trigger on such a deal. The Raiders have shown in the past that they aren't shy about taking on players with questionable character issues. Expect the offseason rumors to continue to swirl around Moss, who appears to have worn out his welcome in Minnesota with his recent troubles.
