Cardinals' Shipp to Miss 8-12 Weeks

The Sports Network reports Arizona Cardinals RB Marcel Shipp (ankle) suffered a dislocated left ankle Friday, Aug. 6, and is expected to miss at least eight weeks of action as a result. He caught his leg underneath a pile during a running play and had to be carted off the field. According to the Associated Press, he could miss up to 12 weeks of action

This is bad news as after x-rays it has been revealed that he has a broken leg. He has had a plate put in and will have more surgery to insert pins.

So Emmitt is the main man there now, right?

At the moment it's looking that way, unless they manage to get someone in.

Do you thin he can still handle the load? I doubt it, myself.

Emmit has to be a fav of mine from years ago. I don't think his legs will carry him, but saying that he didn't play that often last season and he might just have one big one left in him.
