Cowboys could trade Allen to Raiders or Lions..

The Raiders and Lions may be interested in dealing for Cowboys guard Larry Allen. The Dallas Morning News's Todd Archer and Jean-Jacques Taylor report that Allen, who has already met with the Raiders, could also make a stop in Detroit.

Giants still in running for Manning....

There is still a chance that the Giants could strike a deal with the Chargers and draft Mississippi QB Eli Manning. The New York Daily News's Ralph Vacchiano reports that Giants GM Ernie Accorsi "sounded like a man with his heart set on a franchise quarterback" at yesterday's press conference.

Can Packers coach Mike Sherman convince disgruntled cornerback Mike McKenzie to stay in Green Bay? A source told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein that Sherman recently spoke to McKenzie about his "unhappiness and desire to be traded".

Packers closing in on Couch...

The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel's Tom Silverstein reports that the Browns and Packers may be close to agreeing to terms on a trade for QB Tim Couch. Couch will likely cost the Packers a third to fifth round pick.

Redskins may have spot for Winslow....

The Redskins may have just cleared a spot on their team for Miami's Kellen Winslow II. The Washington Times's Jody Foldesy reports that the release of tight end Byron Chamberlain could intensify the Redskins' urge to draft Winslow.
