American Football: Kurt Warner's new team?

Kurt Warner as some of you may have already read about, will likely be released on June 1. So where will he end up? Obviously the Chargers, Dolphins, 49ers, and few other teams would love to get Warner, but what kind of salary might he comand?


I think it would be a bad move to simply release Warner. I know there are some people who say it was just the system, the talent around him, etc. The fact is that Warner has 2 NFL MVPs and a Super Bowl Ring. He has one of the all time best passer ratings (right up there with studs like Young, Elway, Marino and Montana). Kurt Warner is a very good QB. He is just suffering from a very long Super Bowl hangover. He hasn't played a good game since the Rams lost to the Pats in the Super Bowl.

It's hard to say where he'll end up without knowing what QB's go where in the draft next weekend.

I think he'd best fit in San Fran, and he'd get two chances a year for the revenge game...
