How's this for a high cell-phone bill? Saints receiver Joe Horn has been fined $30,000 by the NFL for making a choreographed cell-phone call in the end zone to celebrate a touchdown.

the NFL has to draw a line, he is lucky he didnt get a bigger fine. It clearly states in the rules no outside objects

After Horn made an end-zone call after teammate Michael Lewis handed him a phone that had been stashed under the padding used to protect the goal post,it looks like it has rubbed off onto other players as Houston teammates David Carr and Steve McKinney imitated the same act a week later after a score, some people thought it was more than being playful and the fines are yet to be disclosed for their actions...

Carr and McKinney acted as if a cell phone was stashed underneath the goal post padding after Carr's 20-yard touchdown pass to Corey Bradford against Tennessee...

It seems the league has been cracking down on the jubilations in the last few years and the first to get hit big was Terrell Owen when he whipped out a pen and signed a ball after scoring a touchdown and recently Chad Johnson who after a score held up a handmade sign that read: "Dear NFL: Please don't fine me again."
Well he was out of luck they slapped him with a $10,000 fine...So are they taking it to far with the fines?
