I see that the US team makes it's debut against Mexico this evening with Jake Peavy (San Diego Padres) getting the start. Is anyone at all interested in this? I may watch but for some reason i don't think i'll have the interest that i would if it were opening day of MLB.

Looks like there is really no interest in this thing, wew've got 2 threads started, and not a reply between the two...

I did see that the American team won 17-0 today.

The US plays tomorrow in the second round of the tourney against Japan.

I havent had a chance to see any of the games yet but I've been catching the highlights. I plan on watching the two televised games tomorrow (ESPN2), USA vs Japan and the battle of the undefeated, Puerto Rico vs Dominican Republic.
