i heard about this on the radio this morning and finally found something on it, Bert Padell was a Yankee batboy and later became joe DiMaggio's busines manager, among the items up for bid is a bat that Joltin Joe used during the 1950 world series and a incentive agreement signed by Babe Ruth.

these are the kinds of things that belong in Cooperstown, sad to hear that they are being sold off to the highest bidder...

I was so mad... the other day at the Mall they had a big Sports thing going on. They had a Picture of Don Larson and Yogi Berra celebrating his Perfect World Series game, which was signed by both. This also included two seperate baseballs signed by each noting it was from Larson's game. I would easily have paid over 200 for it, but it was a mere $110, and all I had was 10.
I need a job.
