I agree that within (maybe not next year) maybe the next couple years the Pirates will surge as a contending team again. Having a great young pitcher on your staff really helps as far as basing a team is concerned.

Oliver Perez was awesome, he had so many strikeouts in the innings he pitched.

the brewers have a great pitching threesome in capuano sheets and doug davis and with young talent such as prince fielder, ricky weeks, carlos lee and lyle overbay they look good heading in to the 06 campaign
