Yes the 1939 yankees were possibly the greatest team ever, they won more than 100 games without ruth or gehirg for the first time, pretty good teamwork there

The 1915-1916 Red Sox had very good teams. Also the philadelphia Athletics of the early 20's and 1910-11. Also, the 1904-1905 Giants were very good.
