The Herald's Jeff Horrigan reports that the Dodgers, Mets and A's will be keeping a close eye on Red Sox reliever Byung-Hyun Kim. The Red Sox could decide to deal Kim if he fails to win a spot in their bullpen.



The Sox aren't ready to give up on Byung-Hyun Kim, who was a non-factor in 2004 after signing a two-year, $10 million contract. Kim, who spent most of last season at Triple-A Pawtucket, will have an opportunity to earn a middle-relief spot in spring training.
