i may be wrong (mrs tj says i often am) but just off the top of my head it seems to me that the turning point of the boston season was the brawl game with the yankees, anyone know the teams respective records since that game?

I never noticed this thread before...


I was thinking the same thing awsell...

The brawl was about the 23nd of July...

Since then Boston have won 33 games, lost 11...With a streak of ten wins on the trot.

The Yanks have won 27 games, lost 19..

ah, so the sox have been better, for sure. The question remains, will they overtake the yanks to win the division? And will they meet in the playoffs then?
