Baseball: more bad news for the mariners

the mariners learned today that both closer eddie guardado, and set up man raphael soriano will need season ending surgury, soriano who was to be the set up man this year faces "tommy john" surgery, while closer guardado will be operated on for a torn rotator cuff, both pitchers will miss most if not all of next year as well.....the news just gets worse for the m's

That's too bad for the M's, been an all-around tough year for toejam's boys.

I guess "Everyday Eddie" is going to need a new nickname.

He's a good closer but they'll find a putz to replace him.
