In today's world where nearly everything is sponsored in the four major sports, there are still certain understood guidelines regarding advertising.

A large percentage of stadiums in pro sports are tied in with a corporate name. Citizens Bank Park is the new home of the Philadelphia Phillies and PETCO Park is the new named stadium of the San Diego Padres.

The Texas Rangers became the latest team to boost their opportunity for a sales windfall on Friday as they renamed The Ballpark in Arlington to Ameriquest Field. It's a 30-year agreement.
