Carlos Beltran could be the next big star to jump on the bandwagon and go to the Yankees according to Kansas City Star columnist Joe Posnanski. He writes that some Yankees fans "are already penciling Beltran into next year's lineup".

Rangers could deal for pitching help

The Dallas Morning News's Todd Wills reports that the Rangers may add some pitchers for the stretch run if the price isn't too high. Although Rangers owner Tom Hicks isn't willing to deal any of the team's young prospects, he says that they could strike a deal with a team looking to dump salary.
