Gagne's had two great years, but if I had to have a closer for a pressure situation, it would have to be someone with a calm demeanor, but someone who
is nasty. I could only narrow it down to Rivera and Wagner. These two guys are never rattled and have the best stuff as closers, with Gagne a close
second. I would like to take Smoltz as well, but he has been hurt the last two years.
i would agree with all 4 of them. but if i had to order them they would go something like this
1. Smoltz (you have to go with experience first)
2. Rivera (he's been a light's out staple for the yankees)
3 a. Gagne (he's young, somewhat unpredictable, but when he's on he's on)
3 b. Wagner (i haven't followed him much, but he'd be interchangable with Gangne in my book)
