Oh Bonds is not top....

Go Pujols i'm rooting for ya!!!

I'm goin for Pujols too, but I think that Bonds would have it easily if he wasn't getting walked every other at bat.

It looks to me like the race is still too close to call, but i'd put my money on Pujols

ADAM DUNN will strike out 200 times but will hit at least 40 homers.

So with Pujols out for a few games, is someone else gonna claim the lead?

My moneys on Ramirez to take the lead

First I chose Griffey, then I switched to Bonds. I think I'm gonna go BACK to Griffey. the way he's swinging the bat... he's gonna have 50+.

Yep, Griffey's back!!! Bonds not getting enough at bats though. Are the NL pitchers still chicken when facing Barry??? The things are going he's going to get more than 220 walks this season...

I belive that Pujols has the best shot at it, I really don't see anyone stronger than him in the homerun race, for now at least

I'm going to stick with Pujols for now. Shame he picked up that injury as he was firing. As others have said it's pretty close and i would keep a eye on all the ones who are currently in the top ten, they all have a chance the way they are batting.

People say that every year at the start of the year. There are always quite a few who could hit tons if they keep on going, you can't really say until after All Star Weekend

Tomorrow was supposed to be an off day for the Phillies and Reds but instead they'll be playing a makeup game before they both resume interleague play on Tuesday.

Today Ken Griffey, Jr hit his 499th homerun and Jim Thome hit his 399th. The ball has been flying out of Citizens Bank Park lately, it would be pretty amazing if they both reached milestones in the same game.

Thats too bad, it's the sort of thing that would be really cool to see on the same day. I suppose they want it to happen at home to boost attendance

Yeah, they gave Griffey the night off, trying to sell some tickets in Cincy. I guess you cant blame them plus he needed a rest anyway, he's not 25 anymore.

On a good note, Jim Thome hit his 400th career homerun in his first at-bat.

But did he hit his 400th? The game is in a rain delay in the 3rd inning and as you're all well aware, they have to play five full innings to make it official. If it were called, all stats are erased and the game is made up in full. Dont forget this game is already a make-up of a rainout. But they said they really want to get the game in so I have a feeling they'll resume, it just might be a while.

It's official now, the game has resumed and is in the top of the 7th. Thome's 400 will go in the books.
