Its a very debatable question with all the SP there is to choose from.

So who in your opinion is the best pitcher, who has the best stuff?

well as far as good all around i'd say Maddux is still very good. if you're talking about power over the number of innings pitched i'd go with smoltz. but if you're talking overpowering, knock you out right out of the shoot i'd go with Randy Johnson. it's hard to distinguish a single best pitcher because there is so many factors to put into it. i'll give you my top 5 in no particular order.

Maddux
Smoltz
Clemens
Gagne
Martinez

Well i didn't say it would be easy.

Good choices Aegis but you left one off who i think is a contender for the best pitcher,Mark Prior. There is no doubt he throws hard but the thing he has in his armoury is his off speed pitches they are amazing.

Not yet, the Cubs are showing alot of interest, thats where he started his career back in 1986. It would be nice to see him go back to ChiTown after 3 Cy Young awards and 10 Gold Glove awards.

Can you imagine the Cubs staff if he goes back to Wrigley?

Maddux, Mark Prior, Kerry Wood, Carlos Zambrano, Matt Clement

since the question is who is the best "pitcher" in baseball i would like to nominate Jamie Moyer, into his forties now he is 54-21 over the last 3 years, he does not have an overpowering fastball, but he wins with the knowledge of how to pitch and what it takes to fool batters
