anyone know the answer to this one? what percentage of minor league baseball players actually make it to the majors? If anyone knows I need the source of the info as well - a pair of box seat tickets hang in the balance!

Ermmm i thought i had better check Aegis but the article on the webpage is 11 years old...


The newest figure is 10.5 make it from minors to majors.....

Its not much different but 0.1 can make a big difference to the tickets....

thanks for the double check. i guess i didn't even realize that it was 11 years old. i'll tell you what though, that number 10.5 seems aweful high. unless of course they count the guys that play in 1 game and get sent back. i really figured it would be around 1 or 2 percent.
