Last time I read anything about Rosslyn Chapel, the board of trustees had refused to allow any digging about there.
The theory goes that it was built as an exact replica of King Solomon's Temple and that the Knights Templar may have stored some sort of secret treasure beneath it - sacred scrolls, arc covenant or holy grail.
With the publicity that this story has received it is doubtful that anything of importance would still be there now.

Thanks. That would make sense. I was looking for a follow-up to a news story I read within the last year- regarding some team that was gonna scope it out with imaging equipment of some type. Maybe at least prove that there is nothing there, anyway.
