The one thing that was clear from this documentary was that Oswald was no "crap shot" as many (including the movie) would have him be.
In fact he was a marine sharpshooter, trained in speed shooting. Some of his scorecards showed 48/50 and 49/50 under test.
Bear in mind that Kennedy was shot from a distance of 88 yards (if Oswald did it) and the tests were at well over double that distance.
They also reckoned in the movie that the scope was faulty but this wasn't the case either as Oswald had only recently purchased the rifle mail order.
Finally, they had an 89 year old guy reload and fire the weapon in a quicker time than Oswald would have taken (8.1 seconds) - the guy even paused for the 3rd shot.

It would be interesting to know if there are any guys here who could fire a bolt action rifle 3 times in that space of time. Bear in mind that Oswald's first shot missed and his second didn't hit the target cleanly though.

Just some thoughts here whatever they may be worth. The marines were trained with semi auto weapons like the m-14, they hadn't trained with bolt actions since WWII and they are not trained with scopes and don't use scopes at the rifle range. I would certainly think that LHO would have been much more in his element if he had used an open sight and some sort of auto loading weapon. 88 yards with an open sight is nothing. The rifle range lowest distance is about 250 yards up to 500.

I only say this considering so much weight is given his marine rifle training. None of which would have anything to do with a scoped bolt action.

The last, and final, government investigation the ARRB Assassination Records Review Board quietly concluded that the medical evidence in the case is so compromised to the point that no definite conclusions could ever be reached in the case.

The official conclusion is that of the HSCA that Oswald shot Kennedy as part of a conspiracy.

Simply put Oswald can't be eliminated as a suspect. That is the final resolution of the case.

As far as the history book will say that is the government's conclusion and there will no more investigations.
