Um, truth, your thingamajig says Maryland, is there one in China? I don't see how one can be so against free thinking. Free thinking brought us science. Galileo had free thinking. Because of it, we now know, unlike what the church said and nearly killed him for going against, the world isn't flat.

Copernicus the same thing, he thinks, doesn't follow, and is nearly killed by the church for it. Great thinkers, scientists, philosophers, many died at the hands of the church for thinking. But enough came through to enlighten us with the truth. And, Darwin was not the first to come up with evolution. Greeks did. Later on Romans, I think the book said a couple of guys named Leoni and Jonda(not sure, sorry, returned it to library) were executed by the church for talking about evolution. But, later on you get some guys in France, then England, and then Darwin who comes up with the name evolution. later on a book and so forth.

And still waiting for proof that your religon is right. So far no one has. Jedi came on and said going to hell, truth came on saying I'm right, you wrong(actually said FM wrong), face wrath of god. But no proof. of course, there can be none, for no religon is right. Follow ten commandments, but even though given to Moses(jew) Christians seem to think it is their's. Why? I saw the movie, Moses gets them, not Jesus, not David, Moses. A Jew, so why they involved with Christians?

I know the answer to that, but wondering why they would do that. Anyways, I think TC is messing with us. Or his name was hacked. For TC would never say such a thing, unless a joke to get us riled up or a different person.

Take a look in the Egyptian Book of Coming Forth by Day (More commonly known as Book of the Dead) & check out the "negative confession" that must be recited to 42 gods sitting in judgment during the "Weighing of the Heart" ceremony...

True...The ancient Greek have *lots* of "virgin birth" stories...Where the "male parent" a god, most notably Zeus, disguised in animal form (Can we say tthe word, "Bestiality"?...I knew we could! )

...And every time I see new photos taken by the Hubble telescope & see the beuaty of God's handiwork, I appreciate more & more what He gave to us. As our view of the universe expands, we understand the Power of God even more...The type of Creator it takes to make THIS!

As the sciences study to learn more about how God actually put it together, I appreciate Him more & more as well...Such subtle complexity!...Such grandeur!

And yet, the universe is a *dangerous* place as well...Just being in the wrong place at the wrong time could end it all for the entire human race.
Ann Rice had it right when she referred to the Earth as the "Savage Garden"...

The religious right fails to respond to the significant difference our technology offers, in relation to a perspective on reality as a whole.

Not that what we today know should be for its own sake considered a complete depiction of totality. But to be honest, mankind is faced with a considerable disparity, in relation to what was commonly accepted 200 years Ago.

Several issues come to mind, amongst then is mankind in relation to what can be accepted as inherent capacities? Jesus said that with the faith of mustard seed one could move mountains. Given what we understand today this does seem apparent. From that question and response it does then portend to another question, this as to what is in fact Faith?
